President Ersin Tatar is in Turkey for a series of contacts in Ankara, Konya and Kütahya.
Tatar after arriving in Ankara moved on to Kastamonu where he will be visiting an area recently hit by floods and coming together with people affected by the disaster.
On Saturday, the President will be delivering a speech on the Cyprus Issue at an event in Ankara organised by the Union of the Turkish Bar Associations.
President Tatar will move onto Kütahya on Sunday to meet with with representatives of NGO’S and businesspeople.
He will also be giving a number of interviews to local newspapers and TV channels.
On Monday,September 6 he will be speaking at a conference titled “the Turkish Cypriots’ struggle for existence on the island from past to present” at the Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
Tatar will also be coming together with Cyprus war veterans in Kütahya.
The President who will attend events at Akşehir will then move on to Konya where he will come together with journalists.
As part of his contacts in Konya, Tatar will visit the İstiklal Harbi Martyrs’ Cemetery.
He will also come together with the Konya Cyprus War Veterans, officials from the Konya Chamber of Commerce and will also attend a panel on the Cyprus issue.
The President will return to the republic on Wednesday, September 8.
