Prime Minister Ersan Saner issued a written message to mark the beginning of the 2021-2022 School Year.

In his message, Saner reminded that students have returned to schools after almost two years.

Noting that the pandemic had negatively affected the education sector alongside the health sector, he said “our children who continued their education online can now have face to face education which is more effective in their classrooms.”

The Premier also expressed the belief that alongside the measures taken by the Health Ministry and the Ministry of National Education and Culture, both public and private schools will show the necessary sensitivity.

Stating that the importance of human health, especially the children’s health was unquestionable, Saner said “alongside taking measures for health it is also our duty to provide our children with the necessary education.”

Stressing that the government was determined to take any measures for the continuation of face to face education, he said the contributions of families were important during this period and added that he was closely following the developments.
