Primary schools that operate under the Department of Primary Education began the 2021-2022 Academic year on Monday September the 13th.
In line with the beginning of the new academic year, President Ersin Tatar, Prime Minister Ersan Saner and the Minister for National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu paid a visit to the Gönyeli Primary School and inspected the newly completed classrooms.
During the opening ceremony of the 2021-2022 Academic year at the Gönyeli Primary School, the undersecretaries of the Prime Ministry and the Ministry for National Education and Culture, Gönyeli Mayor Ahmet Yalçin Benli, the head of the Civil Services Organization Atilla Karaca, directors of relevant ministries and other officials all attended the ceremony.
Delivering a speech here the Minister for National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu noted that the schools had been closed for over a year and a half now and pointed to the importance of face to face education.
Prime Minister Ersan Saner for his part noted that due to the intense work carried out by the government face to face education was able to begin again and reiterated that nothing can replace face to face education.
President Ersin Tatar for his part noted that the Gönyeli Primary School had raised many successful people and expressed the hope that the children will have a successful academic year.
“Be kind to one another and be aware of the value of these classes and the lessons you will learn here” said Tatar.
