Prime Minister Ersan Saner said that a great effort had been exerted in order to open up the schools in the most reliable way.
Speaking on a program on BRT, Saner said that nothing could replace face to face education and reminded that rotational education was taking place at some schools due to the high number of students but added that they will re-evaluate the situation in accordance with the developments taking place with the virus.
Touching upon the amount of vaccinations available in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Saner noted that only 50 percent of the population has been vaccinated and urged those who have not been vaccinated to do so immediately.
Also referring to the issue of PCR tests and rapid tests, the Premier reminded that those who have been vaccinated can enter all venues by showing their AdaPass and without requiring any further testing.
Explaining that the government is doing all it can for the future of the TRNC, Saner said that unvaccinated students are expected to enter the country but reminded that they have put aside 45 thousand doses for these students.
