The Health Ministry on Monday reported 124 new positive cases of Coronavirus following 26,387 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

The ministry reported that two positive cases arrived to the TRNC via air and 31 were contact cases that were under surveillance for being in close contact with other positive cases.

91 cases were locally transmitted.

24 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 35 from the Girne District, 26 from the Gazimağusa District, five from the Iskele District and one from the Güzelyurt District.

While one person died from the virus 151 people have recovered and have been sent home.

Meanwhile, 159 positive cases and four deaths were reported in South Cyprus on Monday.
