The Health Ministry on Tuesday reported 101 new positive cases of Coronavirus following 16,389 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

The ministry reported that seven positive cases arrived to the TRNC via air and 21 were contact cases that were under surveillance for being in close contact with other positive cases.

73 cases were locally transmitted.

31 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 21 from the Girne District, 12 from the Gazimağusa District, three from the Iskele District, four from the Güzelyurt District and two from the Lefke District.

182 people have recovered and have been sent home.

Meanwhile, 126 positive cases and two deaths were reported in South Cyprus on Tuesday.
