The winter tourism season has started in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

A group of 155 tourists have arrived in the country as part of the ‘Northern Travel North Cyprus Winter program’.

According to information given by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, the winter tourism program which was announced by Minister Fikri Ataoğlu earlier and is aimed at spreading the tourism season in the country to 12 months, has started.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment Serhan Aktunç on Tuesday examined the entry procedure applied at Ercan airport that had been determined by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases and informed officials.
