The Health Ministry on Tuesday reported 86 new positive cases of coronavirus following 21,539 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry data, 60 cases were locally transmitted, four of the cases were from overseas and 22 were contacts of persons who previously tested positive for Covid-19.

25 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 17 from the Girne District, 11 from the Gazimağusa District, and seven from the İskele District.

Data shows that 117 people have recovered and have been sent home.

In the meantime, 117 positive cases were reported in South Cyprus on Tuesday.
