A delegation from Turkey’s Ministry of Industry and Technology paid a working visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The delegation headed by Fatih Turan, the General Manager of Industrial Zones of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey held contacts in the TRNC to examine the organised industrial area and carry out mutual technical studies.

As part of their contacts in the TRNC the delegation visited the Organized Industrial Zones in Lefkoşa, Haspolat, Alayköy, Gazimağusa and Güvercinlik and many industrial facilities operating in these regions.

Bureaucrats from the TRNC Ministry of Economy and Energy and experts of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry also accompanied the visiting delegation during their visits.

The delegation, which was received by the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başçeri and the Minister of Economy and Energy Erhan Arıklı, also met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Energy Şahap Aşıkoğlu, the President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Turgay Deniz and the President of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry Ali Kamacıoğlu.
