The Health Ministry on Monday reported 67 new positive cases of coronavirus following 23,133 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry, 62 positive cases were locally transmitted and five were under observation for coming into contact with previous Covid-19 cases.

34 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 12 from the Girne District, 13 from the Gazimağusa District, one from the Güzelyurt district and two from the İskele District.

72 recoveries have been recorded.

South Cyprus on the other hands reports 170 new positive cases and one death on Monday.
