President Ersin Tatar will today begin to hold discussions with political party leaders within the framework of setting up a new government.

In line with the authority given to him by the constitution, for the next two days President Ersin Tatar will hold talks with political parties that are represented in the parliament with the hope of forming a new government.

President Tatar is expected to meet with the National Unity Party, Republican Turkish Party and with the People’s Party this afternoon.

On Wednesday he will meet with the Social Democratic Party at 11, with the Democrat Party at 11.20 and with the Rebirth Party at noon.
