Turkey’s Development and Economic Cooperation office (KEİ) is providing support for the maintenance and repair of cemeteries and monuments in the TRNC.

KEİ helped repair and maintain 13 martyr cemeteries and 29 monuments, from 2007-2020.

According to a statement made by KEİ, within the scope of the construction, repair and contribution projects for monuments, cemeteries and museums, approximately ₺1m was allocated for the repair and renovation of the Düzova martyrs’ cemetery, the Limassol martyrs’ monument and the Türkeli martyrs’ cemetery
