The Health Ministry on Thursday reported 184 new positive cases of coronavirus following 14,341 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry data, three individuals arrived from abroad, 38 people were under observation for coming into contact with previous Covid-19 cases, while 143 positive cases were locally transmitted.

33 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 47 from the Girne District, 53 from the Gazimağusa District, three from the Güzelyurt District and seven from the İskele District.

96 people recovered and were sent home.

Meanwhile South Cyprus reported 264 new cases on Thursday.

Also, the Health Ministry urges anyone who has come into contact with persons who have tested positive for Covid-19 or those who display symptoms of the virus such as fever, coughing and fatigue or loss of smell or taste to contact the Health Ministry Contact Tracing Team.
