The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Düriye Deren Oygar stated that the highest rate of transmission is between the ages of 20-40, where the number of vaccinations have been low.

Oygar called on citizens who have not been vaccinated yet to do so straight away and called on those who have had 2 doses of vaccine and whose time has come to have reminder doses to do so as soon as possible.

Speaking to the TAK news agency, Oygar said that as the winter month has approached and the weather is becoming cooler, people are spending more time in closed locations.

Noting that they had predicted that there would be an increase in cases in November, Oygar reminded that there was also an increase in the number of cases around the world.

She called on people to abide by COVID-19 measures and continue to wear masks and protect themselves and their families.
