President Ersin Tatar said that the showcasing of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s first domestic car, GÜNSEL’s first model B9, to the world automotive market at the “London EV Show” was the success of everyone who believes in the TRNC.

The President thanked the Günsel family, engineers, workers and everyone who contributed to this success.

“The showcasing of the TRNC’s first domestic car, GÜNSEL’s first model B9 to the world automotive market at the “London EV Show; has made me very proud, just like all Turkish Cypriots. This success in the simplest term is an important sign of believing in the TRNC state and looking to the future with hope. It also indicates the bright future of Turkish Cypriots on these soils” Tatar said.

“The success of GÜNSEL on a global scale which honoured the Turkish Cypriot people by flying the TRNC flag among the world’s automotive giants in London, is the success of everyone who believes in the TRNC and our sovereignty” he stressed.

“Turkish Cypriots, despite all embargoes and inhumane restrictions will become stronger as they produce and will improve as they get stronger on these lands” said the President and added that the TRNC has the necessary labour force, capacity and courage for the development in all fields from sports to arts, industry to tourism and education to agriculture.”
