The Health Ministry on Tuesday reported 194 new positive cases of coronavirus following 18,981 diagnostic tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry, two people came from abroad and 40 people were under observation for coming into contact with previous Covid-19 cases, while 152 positive cases were locally transmitted.

65 of the cases are from the Lefkoşa District, 21 from the Girne District, 45 from the Gazimağusa District, 11 from the Güzelyurt District and 10 from the İskele District.

While four people died from the virus 316 people recovered and were sent home.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 806 new cases on Tuesday.
