President Ersin Tatar together with his wife Sibel Tatar attended the ‘Dark Years in Cyprus’ photograph exhibition and conference organized by the Doruk Foundation in line with the National Struggle and Martyr’s Week.

In his speech at the conference, President Ersin Tatar stated that the Turkish Cypriot people had experienced unforgettable pain and suffering.

“These efforts are very important as it allows us to carry the spirit of the struggle waged for existence and the essence of the Cyprus issue to the future,” said Tatar.

“Here is the glorious history from past to the present. We will not fall under the oppression of the Greek Cypriots. It is our greatest duty to protect our state and our people and to develop our country” he said.
