The Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases has adopted the following rules/measures in line with the latest epidemiological situation in the TRNC.
According to the new decisions announced by the Committee; Vaccinated and infected people from ‘red’ coloured countries will be tested for COVID-19 72 hours after their entry into the country.
Persons who have not had their 3rd dose vaccinations will be considered as unvaccinated persons in the country and their Adapass will be cancelled.
From now on, primary school students and students 6th grade onwards will need to provide rapid tests every 7 days.
Meanwhile only those who have been fully vaccinated will be able to take part in New Year’s organizations, unvaccinated people will not be allowed to participate in these organizations.
In addition, New Year’s Eve social events are banned at schools, private offices and government offices.
