TRNC economy on the table

Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu held a meeting on Tuesday with members of the Economic Organisations Platform to discuss the latest economic situation in the country and the process to be adopted in the future.

Speaking at the meeting which was also attended by some ministers, the Prime Minister stated that these meetings will continue periodically and that steps will be taken in 2022 to get the country out of the current bottleneck.

The meeting that took place at the prime ministry was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, Interior Minister Kutlu Evren, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister for Economy and Energy Sunat Atun, Health Minister Ali Pilli, Labour and Social Security Minister Koral Çağman, National Education and Culture Minister Olgun Amcaoğlu, Agriculture and Natural Resources Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Public Works and Communications Minister Resmiye Canaltay, undersecretaries and other officials.

Representing the Economic Organisations Platform was the head of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce Turgay Deniz, the head of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry Ali Kamacıoğlu and the head of the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Association Cafer Gürcafer.
