President Ersin Tatar on Monday expressed his desire for the creation of a government that will complete its full five-year term in office.
Evaluating the latest developments in an interview with the TAK news agency, Tatar who tested positive for Covid-19 last week said that he was in good health.
He repeated his call to the public to get vaccinated and to adhere to the pandemic rules.
Noting that the new parliament had been sworn in, Tatar stated that harmony between MPs was just as important as the number of deputies that will form the coalition government.
“My wish and desire is for the creation of a stable government that can work in harmony and complete its full term,” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of health, Tatar said that the process of normalisation can only begin with vaccination.
