The Health Ministry on Tuesday announced 588 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 15,226 tests in the last 24 hours.

495 individuals were also reported as recovered from the virus.

It was reported that 257 individuals were detected in Lefkoşa, 106 in Girne, 126 in Gazimağusa, 40 in Güzelyurt, 54 in İskele and five in the Lefke District.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported seven deaths and 2,885 new cases on Tuesday.
