The Health Ministry on Wednesday announced 397 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 13,341 tests in the last 24 hours.

While one person died from the virus, 488 individuals were reported as recovered.

It was reported that 180 individuals were detected in Lefkoşa, 88 in Girne, 62 in Gazimağusa, 17 in Güzelyurt, 34 in İskele and 16 in the Lefke District.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported five deaths and 2,779 new cases on Wednesday.
