The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that Türksat has brought its experience of establishing e-Government infrastructure to the international arena by putting the “e-KKTC Program” into service in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
In a statement made by the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, it was stated that Türksat, which operates the e-Government Gateway on behalf of the Presidency Digital Transformation Office in Turkiye, is also the main contractor in the e-KKTC Project.
Emphasizing that with the e-government project, it aims to provide all public services in the easiest and most effective way in the electronic environment, in a high quality, fast, uninterrupted, secure and integrated structure, it also stated that it aims to end bureaucracy, which is shown as a major problem in the TRNC.
It was also stated that the entire planning and execution of the e-Government infrastructure of the TRNC, which was designed and established by Türksat Bilişim with all its layers from A to Z, in terms of software, architecture and design, was also provided by the company.
