President Ersin Tatar received the members of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) Foundation on Monday.

Speaking during the visit, President Tatar noted that he was attending events organised by the foundation from time to time.

He said Turkiye’s armed forces had strengthened its defence industry in the best way possible, was protecting the national interests with its impressive might and stood beside the Turkish Cypriot people in our struggle against the Greek-Greek Cypriot duo.

Stressing that the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation did not allow attempts to usurp both Turkiye’s and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’ rights in the Eastern Mediterranean, Tatar noted that Turkiye was the most powerful country in the region.

“Turkish Armed Forces has a strong defence industry which can respond to and repel any attack from the air, land or sea. The TRNC state is also ready to do its part,” the president said, wishing success to the foundation members in their works.
