Health Minister Ali Pilli held inspections at the Güzelyurt Health Centre and the Kalkanlı care home on Wednesday, chatting with staff and patients, listening to their problems and issues.

Speaking to BRT during the visits, Pilli said that he had found the opportunity to personally examine the problems being experienced.

The health minister who has remained in the new cabinet said that 2022 will be the year to solve the problems experienced in the public health sector.

Pilli said that he will be periodically visiting all health centres and hospitals in a bid to identify and address the problems staff and patients were experiencing.

He added that among his goals will be to introduce 24-hour health care at the Güzelyurt health centre.

Pilli also said that the issue of medicine shortages will also be solved within a month the latest.
