Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu met with industrialists who are visiting the island from Antalya, Turkiye.

Speaking during the visit the Prime Minister touched upon the hydrocarbon issue and said that the only way to transport the hydrocarbons to be found in the Eastern Mediterranean to Europe is via Turkiye.

Stating that the strategic importance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has increased with the discovery of hydrocarbons, Prime Minister Sucuoğlu said, “All of our efforts are aimed at creating a strong economy, making strong investments and strengthening our country”.

“We are a country that shares a common destiny with Turkiye,” said Sucuoğlu.
