522 new cases of Covid-19 and one death were reported in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Thursday amongst 13,876 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.

212 persons were reported as recovered.

Of the 522 cases 229 were from Lefkoşa district, 139 from Girne district, 106 from Gazimağusa district, 29 from Güzelyurt district, 10 from İskele district and nine from Lefke district.

Meanwhile, 1,935 people tested positive for Covid-19 in South Cyprus on Thursday.

One death was also reported.
