President Ersin Tatar has been awarded “The Most Successful Statesman of the Year” by the GAP Journalists Union.

According to a statement released by the TRNC Presidency, President Tatar’s award will be presented during the International GAP Oscar Award Ceremony to be held in Malatya, Turkiye on the 14th of May.

The Deputy President of the GAP Journalists Union Hamit Özpolat said “President Tatar will be presented the most successful statesman of the year award for defending of Turkish Cypriot people’s rights in the international arena and his efforts towards protecting the rights of Turkiye and the TRNC in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
