The Sea Lion–2022 Search and Rescue Invitation Exercise which is being planned, commanded and controlled by the Turkish Coast Guard Command started in the territorial waters and the airspace of the Aegean Sea.

The exercise will be conducted in two different areas – in the western part of the Midilli and Sakız Islands and in an area between the two islands.

The TRNC Security Forces Command will also take part in the exercise which will be conducted with two scenarios.
