5 mayors and around 50 producers from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are in İzmir to participate in the “Cyprus Days” event, where Cypriot products and Cittaslow culture are being promoted.

The event “Cyprus Days” is being hosted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and is being held at the Izmir Culture Park.

48 producers from 5 municipalities representing North Cyprus Cittaslow Network have their produce on display and cultural heritage is also being promoted at the event which began this morning.

The team that is taking part in the event in İzmir includes the North Cyprus Cittaslow Network Coordinator, Yeniboğaziçi Municipality Mayor Mustafa Zurnacılar, Lefke Mayor Aziz Kaya, Mehmetçik Mayor Cemil Sarıçizmeli, Tatlısu Mayor Hayri Orçan and Geçitkale Mayor Hasan Öztaş.
