President Ersin Tatar on Thursday met with the head of the senate of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Turkiye Mikail Çakmak and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit President Tatar stated that the Turkish Cypriot youth are now all over the world and are representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with great success.

Touching upon the unjust embargoes imposed against the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, President Tatar said that despite this the world is bearing witness to the realities of the island.

Emphasizing the fact that there is a state structure in the TRNC and that the youth are able to take part in international organizations and act in unity with Turkiye, President Tatar said that this gives strength to the TRNC.

Noting that better days await everyone especially after the pandemic, economic crisis and the Russia-Ukraine war, President Tatar expressed his belief that difficult times will be left in the past.

Stating that all difficulties were overcome in unity Tatar said, “We trust our youth. This state was established after a long struggle and has come to where it is today. The Turkish Cypriot youth is now all over the world. Our youth represent the TRNC and they are doing this with much success.”
