The cabinet list of the new government which was presented to President Ersin Tatar on Thursday afternoon was readout in parliament at an extraordinary session later in the evening.
The opposition Republican Turkish Party (CTP) and Peoples’ Party (HP) boycotted the session.
The MPs from the National Unity Party (UBP), the Rebirth Party (YDP) and the Democrat Party (DP) unanimously voted in favour of reading out of the government program at 4pm this afternoon.
There are two new names in the cabinet formed under the leadership of Girne UBP MP Ünal Üstel.

- Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu (DP)
- The Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı
- The Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu
- The Minister of Finance Sunat Atun
- The Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler
- The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu
- The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu
- The Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz
- The Minister of Health İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra
- The Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy
According to the constitution, the debate on the government programme begins two full days after it is read out in parliament.
A vote of confidence is held a day after the debate ends.
