Summer working hours for pharmacies

Pharmacies across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) switched to summer working hours on Monday.

According to the changes, pharmacies in Lefkoşa, Girne, Güzelyurt, İskele, Lapta, Alsancak and Karşıyaka will be open between 8am and 5.30pm during weekdays except for Thursdays during which pharmacies will close at 1.30pm.

Pharmacies in these areas will be open on Saturdays between 8am and 1pm.

On-duty pharmacies will remain open between 8am and 12 midnight.

In the İskele District, on-duty pharmacies will remain open until 10pm.

Pharmacies in villages and towns in the Mesarya region will be open between 8am and 7pm on weekdays and between 8am and 1.30pm on Saturdays.

On-duty pharmacies will remain open between 8am and 1.30pm on Saturdays and between 8am and 7pm on Sundays, religious and official holidays.

In the Karpaz area, pharmacies will remain open on weekdays between 8am and 8pm and 8am and 4pm on Saturdays. On-call pharmacies will remain open between 8am and 4pm on Sundays, religious and official holidays.

In Lefke, summer opening hours for pharmacies is between 8am and 5.30pm and between 8am on 1.30pm on Thursday’s and Saturday’s.

On-duty pharmacies in the area will remain open between 8am and 10pm whilst an on-call system will be in place between 8pm and 10pm.

Summer working hours will continue until September 11, 2022.
