The Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (KTSO) and the Western Mediterranean Exporters’ Association are developing their cooperation.
The head of the Chamber of Industry Ali Kamacıoğlu, who visited the Association leader Ümit Mirza Çavuşoğlu within the framework of his visit to Antalya, stated that they are continuing their efforts to increase the exporting power of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
After their discussions, it was decided to sign a protocol between the Chamber of Industry and the Association, which includes cooperation in the field of export.
Kamacıoğlu said “While we export hellim worth 50 million Dollars, the Greek Cypriot side exports hellim worth 300 million Euros. We also have the same potential. We have very valuable products that can be exported but we have a deficiency. We need to open up to new markets and we need the support of the Western Mediterranean Exporters Association for this to be realised. ”
Kamacıoğlu also explained that the British business people they met with were willing to buy TRNC products.
