The Department of Culture and Museum of Antiquities represented the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) at the Turkish World museum event organized by Türksoy in Bursa, Turkiye.
The annual event held in different countries was hosted by Bursa, Turkiye, the capital of the Turkish World of Culture this year from May 26th – 28th.
The event hosted by the Bursa Büyükşehir Municipality and held in collaboration between the TRNC Department of Culture and Turkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism was organized for the mutual exchange of information, sharing experience and enabling for collaboration between Turkic countries.
Books describing the Turkish Cypriot legends were presented to representatives of the Turkish World at the end of the event.
The first Turkish World Museum event was held in 2013 in Bursa and the 2023 Turkish World of Culture event will take place in the Shusha city of Azerbaijan.
