The traditional end-of-year exhibition of the Büyükkonuk, Kilitkaya and Kumyalı Village Women’s Course was inaugurated with a ceremony.
President Ersin Tatar delivered a short speech during the ceremony by commemorating the late National Unity Party MP Ali Rıza Usluer who was originally from Kilitkaya village.
The Büyükkonuk, Kilitkaya and Kumyalı Village Women’s Course exhibition which was inaugurated on Monday night features handcrafted works produced by the women of the region.
The exhibition can be visited at the Kilitkaya village Women’s Course building until June 22.
Speaking at the event President Ersin Tatar said that the pandemic had been left behind.
Pointing out that the region has become even more modern with the dual carriage way, President Tatar said that he could clearly see that the region was developing and thanked everyone who worked hard for the development of this region.
He also emphasized the importance of women producing in every field and said that village women’s courses are important in order to keep the country’s culture alive and pass it on to the future generations.
