We are working to improve the welfare and quality of life of the public,” said Üstel.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel issued a written statement and stated that they are working hard to swiftly solve the electricity problem in the country due to a fuel shortage caused by the fuel supplier company so as not to victimise the public.
Stating that the two generators with a total capacity of 50MW sent from Türkiye were commissioned in a very short period of time, transformer faults were fixed and the necessary fuel supply was provided, Üstel said that as the government they are working day and night for the well being of the people.
“While our government is trying to make sure that our people spend the bayram holiday in peace, the main opposition party has criticized our efforts with a populist approach,” he said.
“There is no need for the main opposition party to try to unsettle and provoke our people prior to the Eid al-Adha by making populism in this way” said Üstel and added that the state stands behind the decisions it has taken for the welfare of the people.
“We do what is necessary so that our people will not be without electricity for another day. We have also initiated the international tender for the purchase of fuel” said Üstel.
“With the strong support of our Motherland Türkiye, our government will continue its self-sacrificing efforts to implement actions that will increase the welfare and quality of life of the public” he added.
