The daily number of Covid-19 cases continues to remain in triple digits despite the summer months.

The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that 3,231 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the past week from July 13-19.

A total of 23,434 tests were carried out during the last seven days.

Two people were also reported to have died due to the virus.

The health ministry is urging people to wear masks in crowded indoor spaces and to self-isolate should they test positive or show any symptoms of the virus.
