The Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre received political parties from Türkiye who were in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to take part in the Peace and Freedom Day celebrations.

Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre received the leader of Türkiye’s Grand Unity Party Mustafa Destici, the Republican People’s Party Çorum Deputy, the Good Party’s Bursa Deputy and representatives from the Felicity Party and the Democrat Party.

Expressing his happiness to be receiving the party representatives, Töre said that these visits gave the Turkish Cypriot people great morale and strength.

Noting that the Cyprus issue is considered as a supranational issue that is handled sensitively by the political parties in Türkiye, Parliamentary Speaker Töre stated that the Turkish Cypriots are an inseparable part of the Turkic world.
