The daily number of Covid-19 cases continues to rise in the TRNC just like the rest of the world.
The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that 2,363 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the past week from July 20 to 26.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, 2,363 cases of Covid-19 were detected in the past week.
The positive cases were detected following 18,667 tests carried out between July 20th and 26th.
Two people died as a result of the virus.
The health ministry is urging people to continue wearing masks in crowded indoor spaces and to self-isolate should they test positive or show any symptoms of the virus.
