The Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases on Thursday announced new measures in line with the latest Coronavirus decisions.
It has become mandatory for staff working at nursing homes and state prison employees to carry out Covid 19 tests weekly.
Several changes have been adopted in line with the decisions announced by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases on Thursday.
A weekly Covid 19 test requirement has become mandatory for employees working at nursing homes and the state prison.
Individuals visiting nursing homes and the state prison must also submit a weekly negative Covid-19 test.
The committee called on individuals that show symptoms of the virus not to visit the above-mentioned places even if their Covid 19 test is negative.
The Health Ministry said that no changes have been made on entry rules to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Currently, Covid 19 tests are not required on entry to the TRNC.
However, the decision taken two weeks ago on the requirement of masks in closed areas and on public transportation is still mandatory, the Health Ministry announced.
