President Ersin Tatar received the head of the Chairman of the Central Union of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen Credit and Bail Cooperatives Unions Abdülkadir Akgül and an accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit, President Tatar thanked the leaders and members of the union for their efforts to support those trying to survive in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus economy.

Tatar stated that he believed the economic problems would be overcome with the measures taken and the support provided by Türkiye and reiterated that it is his greatest goal to strengthen the economic structure of the TRNC.

Noting that the conditions of the island are open to development due to its geographical location, President Tatar said that the TRNC continues to get stronger by taking root with its institutions and organizations.

Tatar also emphasized the importance of the continuation of the state and being able to support itself.
