Minister Taçoy met with Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay

The Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy is continuing with his contacts in Ankara.

Within the framework of his contacts, Taçoy met with Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay.

The meeting was realized at the Turkish Presidential Complex.

The Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy is in Ankara within the framework of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Republic of Türkiye’s Cooperation Action Plan.

Within the framework of his contacts, Taçoy met with the Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay.

During the meeting, developments regarding occupational health and safety, strengthening the status of women, improving the social security system, employment and vocational training courses in the TRNC were discussed.

Minister Taçoy and his accompanying delegation also attended a meeting at the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services.

Later, the delegation also attended a presentation on “Social Assistance” prepared by the General Directorate of Social Assistance at the Balgat 75th Year Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Centre.

Minister Taçoy and his accompanying delegation also visited the Keçiören Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation and made an assessment at the institution.
