A Cyprus Night event was held in Ankara on Sunday night.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus night was held within the scope of the “24th International Anatolian Days Culture and Art Festival” which was organized by the Ankara Etimesgut Municipality.
There was broad participation at the event held at the Türk Boyları (Turkic Tribes) City Square.Lefkara embridory which is one of Cypriot culture’s most well-known traditional handicrafts was exhibited at a stand which was opened by the TRNC Ankara Embassy within the scope of the event.
A fashion show entitled “Varım, Varlığım” which the history of Cyprus is explained in great detail and was prepared by Famous Turkish Cypriot Fashion Designer Abdullah Öztoprak was also exhibited as part of the event.
68 people took part at the show which 320 pieces of costumes prepared and designed by Abdullah Öztoprak were used.
A stage show which was also organized by Abdullah Öztoprak telling the story of the August 30 Victory which was the most important turning point of the Great Offensive was held Sunday night, the closing night of the festival.
