Pr. Ersin Tatar to hold a series of contacts in Ankara

President Ersin Tatar is in the Turkish capital, Ankara for a series of contacts.

Tatar will be addressing a conference; will give an interview to a news channel and also hold a series of meetings with Turkish officials in Ankara

As part of his contacts in Ankara, President Ersin Tatar first visited the Turkish War Veterans Association.

He will then give a conference titled, “The Turkish Cypriots’ Struggle for Existence on the Island and Our rights in the Eastern Mediterranean” at the OSTİM Technical University before being awarded an honorary doctorate.

President Tatar, who will attend a special program on the NTV news channel to evaluate the latest developments on the Cyprus issue, will also meet with various association officials in Ankara.

President Tatar, who will attend the wedding ceremony of the son of Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, is expected to return to the TRNC on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and coalition partners Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı are also in Ankara for contacts.
