The Law on Integrating Municipalities was published in Official Gazette

President Ersin Tatar has approved the law on reducing the number of municipalities to 18.

Following the President’s approval, “the (Special) Law on the Integration of Municipalities” was published in the Official Gazette.”

“The (Special) Law on the Integration of Municipalities” was published in the Official Gazette. In the published decision it was stated:“The (Special) Law on the Integration of Municipalities’ which was adopted unanimously at the 8th Extraordinary Meeting of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on August 24, 2022, has been published in the Official Gazette as announced by the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in accordance with paragraph (1) of Article 94 of the Constitution.”
