President Ersin Tatar on Monday received the principle, teachers and students from the Sedat Semavi Industrial Vocational School who won first place in TÜBİTAK’s TEKNOFEST 2022 International Efficiency Challenge Electric Car Race and the High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Car Race.

Speaking during the visit, President Tatar said that youth and students in the country were successful at international competitions.

He said that the first place won by the students was a source of pride for the TRNC.

Tatar added that such successful accomplishments despite the embargoes were important.

“It’s important to raise our students and youth in different areas and fields for the future,” he said.
