Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy came together with a delegation from the World Bank and exchanged views on the creation of some programs related to working life.
The Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy met with a delegation of World Bank economists headed by Goran Tinjic, the Head of the World Bank’s Southern European and Asian Countries Unit, who were holding contacts on the island.
According a statement released by the Ministry, labor market policies, unemployment data, minimum wage determination principles, the creation of programs related to welfare benefits were discussed and views were exchanged during the meeting.
While Minister Taçoy gave information about the work being carried out by the Ministry and its activities, the World Bank delegation stated that they were ready to provide all kinds of support to the relevant projects if the EU provides a budget in the future.
