Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once again drew attention to the determination to protect its rights in the Aegean and Mediterranean.

“We will never hesitate to defend the interests of our nation and our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters in the Blue Homeland until the end,” Erdoğan stressed.

Turkish President and Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at the AKP’s Extended Meeting of Provincial Heads on Tuesday.

Making evaluations about Türkiye and the world agenda, Erdoğan also pointed to the developments in the Aegean and Mediterranean.

“We do not approve of polluting the Aegean and the Mediterranean with human blood, tears or hostilities. We want peace with all our hearts” he said.

“We want peace with all our hearts. We want stability and security in our region along with our own homeland. We want to resolve our disagreements on the basis of international law, in an equitable manner and through dialogue. Until now, we have always said that, we will neither be unfair nor let others treat us unfairly. We will never hesitate to defend the interests of our nation and our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters in the Blue Homeland until the end,” Erdoğan said.
