The Republic of Türkiye has appointed a new ambassador to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Metin Feyzioğlu has been appointed as the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa.

Metin Feyzioğlu, who was the former head of the Union of the Turkish Bar Associations, was notified of his appointment by the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

Ali Murat Başçeri is still carrying out his duties at the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa.
